Hi guys. This is a guide on what you need and how to make your gamepad work in Dragonica

You'll need a controller (duh). A PC gamepad works fine, most of them have their own program.
Example of a pc gamepad:

However, those without PC gamepad and have other console gamepads lying around can also use it.
You just need an adapter, like this:

Google "console gamepad pc adapter" and you should find your answer. There's literally any adapter for any console (maybe not Atari or Sega Saturn

)
I'll be using a PS2 controller as the default for now.
1.
Attach your controller (duh)
2.
Download XPadder here:

Joy2Key is harder to use for me so I'm not including it.
3.
Open your Xpadder program. You should see this. Click New to continue:

4.
A pink screen should pop up. Click on the image tab and select your image:

5.
Click on the Sticks tab. Tick enable and a notification will pop up. Push your left stick left then up. Do the same for right stick.

6.
Click on DPad Tab, Click Detect. Setup your directional buttons

7.
Click on the Buttons Tab. Press buttons on your controller and a square will pop up.
Drag the square to the location/button. Remember that the analog sticks have 2 buttons also.
You can skip the Triggers part if you have already press them and set up.
Your final image should look like this:

8.
Click on each button to assign different keyboard presses.
My final button setup. You can set 2 keys on 1 button so my X is jump and spacebar to skip dialogs.

9.
Setup Turbo by clicking advance during button setup. Drag the bar left for more speed.
I've set up both X and Z on turbo as an archer, a thief will also need X on turbo.

10.
Tadah. You're finished. Exiting the program will prompt you to save.
