The New Adventure Bosses

A guide the Big Bad Wolf, Vega, Tutu and Toto

This guide is meant to help the newcomers to Dragonica gain an edge over the bosses you have to defeat. I call it the New Adventurer Bosses, because finishing up the Toto Hero Quest means you'll lose your 'newbie guide'. So, let's get started.

Big Bad Wolf And Vega

He's pretty easy... Maybe pretty tough if you try to go in at level one, but overall fairly easy F1 - F5. He's got a few attacks. I have made the names up myself
Vega's a bit tougher. He's got a lot more HP, and the Big Bad Wolf too at his side. A good tactic is to ignore the sub-boss and focus on the main one. For some reason, Sub-bosses have a lot more HP... Below are the same attacks.

Slash - When you see him stance on his back legs, one arm raised in the air, he's going to use a short ranged, slightly small area of effect slash. It's pretty strong, and can be hard to dodge if you're a Melee-based class.
Dont's - Don't dash across him. He'll just turn around instantly and hit you. Don't Dash up. either. The slash has a pretty wide, but short range. He'll probably catch you off guard.
Do's - Do jump. I've noticed in my experience that a well-timed jump can dodge his slash. Do slide jump back away from him. His range is short. Sliding back quickly enough will ensure a dodge.

Lunge - He'll start to act like a bull, sliding his feet back. This is when you know he'll lunge after you. It's a quick move, so it takes some getting used to, to effectively dodge.
Don'ts - Don't dash towards him. Unless you hate life. Don't dash away. He will reach you.
Do's - Do Jump over him. Make sure you dash in the air over him too. This will help keep you in the air a smidgen longer. Do Dash to either side of him. The lunge is a fairly straight attack, and dodging to the side will ensure escape.

Roar - You'll hear a strange vacuum-type sound, letting you know he's about to unleash a strong roar. He also stances back a little. This attack can be fairly fast, if you don't have your speakers on. Also, the roar knocks you down.
Don'ts - Don't stand still. >_> Don't jump either. It's really wide-ranged attack.
Do's Do jump back and dash. It doesn't have a far reach.. It's like Slash. Do Try dodging to the side, but unless you can hear the attack coming, you might get hit.
[Counterattack! - Swordsman/Theif] - Try to stay in the air using your basic attack/Ariel Frenzy, then slam down using your cut-down skill. If you time it right, after your cutdown, you can get another combo in before he even attacks again!

Gust Slash - Big Bad Wolf and Vega's ranged attack. It has the same animation as their regular slash, so you may have issues dodging it. Don't worry, Gust Slash isn't exceptionally powerful, nor does it knock a character down. However, if you're overconfident, this attack can catch you off guard.
Don'ts - Don't run from this attack. You'll still get sniped. Don't run towards the attack either. That's just silly. Don't run past the wolf; he'll just turn around and snipe you.
Do's - Do jump. You might be able to dodge it, there's a good chance. Do dash to the side. While it's not a good idea for the regular slash, you may get lucky in dodging.
