I had decided to reskill and test some things out so here are my findings:
Physical Training: At lvl 3, it added approximately 700hp, not 1500hp. I had about 5.1k before upgrading it and after only 5.8k hp. The skill used to be % based I think but the description was rephrased to add 500 each level however I think its still based on a percentage. If you have tried god of amplification from gamble, that buff works perfectly. It increases max hp/mp by 30(or 35%) at lvl 5 exactly. I calculated this before, forget which number i used though.
Alrite anyway to the good stuff.
Here are numbers for my character at lvl 48 naked with only ASM at lvl 1
Str: 128
Vit: 102
Agi: 80
Int: 70
Atk: 219
From stats alone, Str seems to add 1.71 ATK
The result of equiping a +2 str necklace adds 4 more atk, but when using a +3 str necklace I get 5 more atk, so I'm guessing the modifier for str is somewhere around 1.7- 1.8 because:
2x 1.7= 3.4 rounded is 3
3x 1.7= 5.1 rounded is 5
2x 1.8= 3.6 rounded is 4
3x 1.8= 5.4 rounded is 5
The results of ASM:
Lvl 1 ASM - ATK 219, with sword: 2140
Lvl 2 ASM - ATK 219, with sword: 2149
LVL3 ASM - ATK 219, with sword: 2157
LVL4 ASM - ATK 219, with sword: 2165
LVL5 ASM - ATK 219, with sword: 2174
Eh so from lvl 1 to lvl 5 I get a difference of 34 atk. The gain from lvl 0 to lvl 1 should have been around 9-10 so that adds a total of 43-44 ATK... Fail much?
Results of bloody roar lvl 3(increases atk by 100%)
Bloody Roar Off:
Atk : 219
Atk w/Sword: 2174
Bloody Roar On:
Atk w/o Sword: 428
Atk w/ Sword: 2383
Difference:
Atk: 209
Atk w/sword: 209
Wild Rage: (which buff stats are equivalent to God of Wrath)
Wild Rage lvl 0, Atk 219, w/sword 2174
Wild Rage lvl 1(10% increase in atk), Atk 240, w/sword 2195
Wild Rage lvl 2(15% increase in atk), Atk 250, w/sword 2205
Difference from lvl 0-2: 31
Grizzly Power lvl 5:
Str 153, Atk: 295, Difference: 76
W/Sword: 2257, Difference: 83
Here's the result with me wearing a lvl 20 glad sword:
Atk/w sword: 877
W/ Wild Rage lvl 2: 908 - 31
W/ Bloody Roar lvl 3: 1085 - 208
Sword Mastery with ASM lvl 5:
Atk 219, w/sword 2174
Lvl 1 Mastery: Atk 219, w/sword 2184
Lvl 2 Atk 219, w/sword 2199
Lvl 3 Atk 219, w/sword 2214
Lvl 4 Atk 219, w/sword 2229
Lvl 5 Atk 219, w/sword 2244
Difference from 0-5: 75 atk. ASM/% buffs do not stack with fixed Atk additives.
Sharpness Blade had similar effects, fixed buffs no stacking.
HP Recovery: lvl 1 added 200 hp as described.
Annihilation:
Normal Hit Range 1st Swing: 1035-1405, avg 1220
Anni lvl 1(10% boost): 1180-1516, avg 1348 = 1220*1.1 = 1342
Anni lvl 5(30% boost); 1381-1801, avg 1591 = 1220*1.3 = 1586
So from the looks of it, this skill works properly as a percentage based active atk buff. Also it seems if your hitting a group of monsters, only the one in front gets the anni bonus.
Raising Storm: Attack of wrestler is based on our weapon, annihilation does not work with this.
Some of my conclusions for a lvl 48 Myrmidon naked with only a weapon w/ acc. as an option:
1. ASM is weaker compared to the warrior's sword mastery. From the looks of it, it won't even be close til maybe after lvl 60.
2. Grizzly Power is barely better than sword mastery because of the +25 Str from the skill.
3. A 5 % increase in attack is approximately worth 10 Atk, regardless of your weapon at lvl 48.
4. Confirm that % buff gains are unaffected by weapon's atk, although bloody roar, wild rage, and Grizzly Power require you to have a 2h sword on to cast.
5. % Buffs are a waste of sp atm, making Gamble's God of Wrath/Calmness, Advance Sword Mastery, Grizzly Power, Wild Rage, Bloody Roar craptastic skills.
Here's some more information I've compiled:

Take into account that when i use my skill i only hit 7k ONCE, when u look at other classes that hit 3.5k 4 times PER skill it adds up alot differently.
Myrmidon are supposed to do the highest dmg PER hit, its the reason why 70% of our attack skills only hit ONCE. so who cares if the dmg it hits at 60 or 80 is double that of what another class hits it will still add up around the same (20k Once - 5k 4 times).
TBH if u are going to say that the % increase bug is supposed to be like it is, i would recommend you ask barunson to make all the myrmidon skills have no long activation times (IE - WoE, Death bound and so on)
You are also forgetting that Bloody roar does not just increase attack power, it also reduces defence AND deals 1%-3% max hp per tick (5 secs).
If you are going to say that all the passives are only ment to add to base atk, i would say in all fairness remove the downside to using a skill that makes us balenced with other classes.
and for info, with 293 str my bloody roar only adds 320 attack. (100% increase) |
Dang buddy 293 str o.O. With 5 set piece for spd bonus and wt hat. Since your at my level i think (48) that means your base should be 128.
128+
25 from Grizzly
20 from Weapon
70? from Hat/Top/Bottom/Legs/Back/Shoulders/Glove
20? from Belt/Rings/Necklace, Earrings
25 I think from set bonus?
5 from guild medal
Total: 294 o.O
Ah I guess it is possible if everything you have has the str option lol. That's interesting you get 320 atk from Bloody Roar, means stats from gear are affected by % buffs.
This means with 293 str, a 5% increase from skills gives approximately 16 Atk:
(100/5=20; 320/20=16)
So ASM with a 21% increase gives you about 67 ATK, still worst than sword mastery lol.
I see two extreme routes now with Myrmidon: one that maximizes str so damage buffs are slightly worth getting, or another that forgoes buffs for damage modifiers from leveling up skills. You can of course go in the middle, but you would sacrifice vit for str for greater damage output. The first route is more useful for pve, the second for pvp.
